An employee of a nightclub Tenerife, is under investigation for allegedly stealing €8,500 from a cash box. The 27-year-old man, is accused of committing the crime by taking and forcefully opening the cashbox and removing the money.
The investigation by the Guardia Civil began after the owner of the nightclub in Candelaria reported the theft, stating that someone had broken into the premises and taken the cash box containing the significant amount of money.
Police have identified the suspect as an employee of the club, familiar with the location of the cash box. The Guardia Civil is continuing its investigation and has not ruled out the possibility that more people may have been involved in the crime.
