The Guardia Civil in Gran Canaria have confirmed that the autopsy results for the death on Monday of a 32-year-old Northern Irish man, identified as Dean Dobbin by the Belfast Telegraph, has been recorded as accidental.
He was found on the floor of his room, at the Colina Mar Apartments in Puerto Rico, in a pool of blood by cleaners sparking speculation as to what happened.
According to an official statement, Dobbin suffered some form of seizure following a few nights out before collapsing and banging his head, sustaining an injury that led to his death. The Guardia Civil will continue their investigation into the events leading up to the incident.
