Yellow warning for heavy rains in Tenerife and La Palma on Thursday
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has informed that there is a yellow weather warning for heavy rain in Tenerife and La Palma from 9am on Thursday. They are predicting up to 60 litres of rain per square metre over a twelve-hour period in the east of La Palma, the metropolitan area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and the east, south, and west of the island also.
According to an official tweet by Aemet, the weather warning will be in place until midnight on Thursday night.
