Police interrupt 50 people having a party at the Punta Rasca lighthouse

The Arona Local Police surprised around fifty people on Saturday night who were taking part in an illegal party by the Punta Rasca lighthouse in the Malpaís de Rasca Special Natural Reserve, a 315-hectare protected area in the south of Tenerife.

According to the police report, upon noticing the presence of the agents, some of the participants fled and avoided being identified and fined, although officers issued fines and sanction proposals to 35 people that were there.

Neighbours' calls to the Police began at 10pm, when many young people parked their vehicles in the area of ​​the El Fraile football field. This unusual movement of traffic and the route followed by the occupants of the cars in the direction of the lighthouse raised the suspicions of the local residents, which is why they called the police.
