Among the new modifications for alert Level 2, which includes the islands of Tenerife, Fuerteventura and El Hierro, meetings of 6 people are allowed in public and private spaces. This also affects bars and restaurants that go from 4 to 6 people allowed per table, and it also applies to indoor and outdoor sports activities, including the instructor.
Here is an overview of Level 2 restrictions from Monday:
- Curfew between 11:00pm and 06:00am, except for justified reasons.
- The maximum number of people that can meet together is increased to 6 for family and social gatherings, in spaces for public use or private use, indoors or outdoors.
If the group is made up of cohabitants and non-cohabitants, the maximum number of people established in each of the indicated alert levels will not be exceeded.
- Sports activity inside the facilities or in the open air: maximum 6 people in a group or class, including instructor maintaining a distance of 2 metres between people.
- Non-professional federated sports activity: forbidden to practice in an autonomous or insular area if the distance of 2 metres cannot be maintained and a number of participants greater than 6 people is required.
- Use of common spaces in the workplace: 50% capacity
- Public transport it is limited to 50% of its capacity. In all the islands, the surveillance of urban land transportation will be reinforced at peak times to avoid crowds.
- Hospitals and Social Health Care Centres: limited visits under the supervision of the centre.
- Limitation to the number people in places of worship: 50% of its capacity cannot be exceeded in closed spaces. It is recommended to offer the services electronically or by television.
The interpersonal safety distance between non-cohabitants and the mandatory use of the mask must be guaranteed. In the practice of worship, physical contact between attendees and singing will be avoided.
The temple or place of worship must remain with the doors and windows open before and after the celebration, the time necessary to guarantee its ventilation. During the celebration, the doors will be kept open, if this does not prevent the practice of it.
