The emergency services from the Arinaga Fire Station were urgently deployed to a dramatic car accident on the GC-100 road, near the bend leading to Las Crucitas, in the early hours of yesterday morning (Tuesday), after a car veered off the road leaving two people trapped inside the vehicle.
CECOES received an alert at around 3:00am informing them that an Audi had been involved in a spectacular crash and that the car’s occupants needed urgent help.
Thanks to the swift response of the fire brigade, the two people were successfully extricated from the car before the situation could deteriorate further, while emergency teams worked diligently to secure the area, manage potential risks, and provide initial medical care to the victims.
Remarkably, despite the severity of the accident, neither of the young people who had been trapped in the car sustained serious injuries.

The rapid and effective intervention of the emergency services, which included the Local Police, the Guardia Civil Traffic Unit, and SUC medical personnel, ensured that what could have been a far more serious situation was brought under control.
