Three females, two of them minors, have been hospitalised following a house fire on Calle General Mas de Gaminde in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The blaze broke out on Thursday afternoon and led to symptoms of smoke inhalation in all three victims.

Emergency responders attended the scene and provided initial medical assistance before transferring the women to a local hospital. Their condition has been described as moderate, and all are reported to be stable.

Firefighters from Las Palmas quickly brought the flames under control and are continuing work at the property to cool down the area and prevent any risk of the fire reigniting.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Authorities have not released further details at this stage.
