Four people have been arrested in Gran Canaria, accused of terrorising businesses across Las Palmas and Telde in a string of violent robberies. The National Police say the gang targeted betting shops, petrol stations, and supermarkets, threatening staff with knives and a fake revolver during a months-long crime spree.

Investigators say the suspects stormed several premises armed with large blades, intimidating employees before emptying cash registers. In one fierce raid, they broke into a home on Calle Suárez Naranjo, attacked one of the residents, and wrecked furniture before fleeing without finding valuables.

In another assault, the gang used a blank-firing revolver to hold up a bar in the Agustina de Aragón area, firing several shots to terrify staff before escaping with €1,000 in cash.

After weeks of investigation, police linked the group to 15 violent robberies, claiming nearly €13,000 in total. Raids carried out on 28th October uncovered clothing and footwear worn during the crimes, as well as the revolver and ammunition used in the bar attack.

The case has been handed to the Court in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Three of the four suspects have been remanded in custody as the investigation continues.
