Divers investigate a sea cave as search continues for the two missing teenagers

Divers from the Special Underwater Activities Group (GEAS) searched a 25-metre-long sea cave located in La Hondura yesterday (Wednesday) in hope of finding the two missing teenagers, aged 16 and 17, who disappeared last Friday in El Confital on the coast of Las Palmas in Gran Canaria.

According to the Guardia Civil, the sea conditions during the day allowed them to conduct an exhaustive search for the two boys, although no new developments have been reported.

Meanwhile, the operation remains active by the Las Palmas Command with the deployment of GEAS, a Patrol Boat from the Las Palmas Maritime Service, an Air Unit, a Patrol from the Port's Fiscal Section, and a permanent presence by Maritime Rescue.

In addition, officers from the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Telde Local Police are also participating, as well as personnel from the National Police, along with firefighters from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) with their respective drone units.
