A 40-year-old woman sustained severe injuries yesterday (Friday) after being hit by a bus on Calle Juan Rejón in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The incident occurred shortly before 12:30pm when CECOES received a call alerting them to the accident. Responders were informed that the woman required immediate medical assistance and were dispatched to the location given.
Emergency medical personnel arrived quickly at the scene. They provided initial treatment to the woman, who had suffered serious multiple traumas. Once stabilised, she was taken by ambulance to the Doctor Negrín Hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition.
