A naked woman is found dead at home in Las Canteras

The dead body of a 46-year-old woman was discovered this morning (Friday) inside her apartment on Calle Miller in Las Canteras area of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. According to investigators she was naked and had signs of ‘multiple blows’ over her body.

First indications are that the woman has been involved in domestic violence and that the marks are the result of being hit by someone, but on closer inspection, investigators aren’t ruling out that she hurt herself when falling over unconscious, due to the amount of drink and drugs they have found inside the home.

Currently, there are several lines of investigation, although it will be the autopsy that determines the cause of the woman’s death. No one has been arrested or detained at this time.
