The 30-year-old manager of a bar, located in the port area of Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, has died after being stabbed by a customer yesterday morning (Friday), as reported by Europa Press.
The incident took place yesterday morning at around 11.30am at a bar on Calle Joaquín Costa, where a couple had allegedly been arguing with the manager, who was subsequently stabbed with a knife leaving him in a serious condition.
COCOES dispatched paramedics to the bar who treated him for stab wounds to his neck, side, and stomach before transferring him to the Doctor Negrín Hospital for emergency treatment, but unfortunately, they have confirmed that he later died from his injuries.
The National Police have also confirmed that they have arrested a 33-year-old man who is accused of stabbing the bar manager and is now facing a potential murder charge.
CECOES have also reported that they treated two other people including a 33-year-old female with a stab wound to her buttock and a moderate head injury, for which she was transferred by ambulance to the Insular University Hospital. Another 33-year-old man was also treated at the scene for a mild head injury.
