A storm system positioned north of the Canary Islands is expected to bring some rain to Fuerteventura, particularly today, Thursday.
According to forecasts from the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET) and other weather models, the island can expect cloudy intervals over the coming days, with scattered showers most likely in northern areas.
The current light northerly winds are predicted to shift south-southwest today due to the storm’s rotation, increasing the likelihood of occasional rain showers across the entire island. Temperatures are expected to dip slightly, with highs reaching 21°C and lows dropping to around 15°C.
While the rain is anticipated to be sporadic, there could be occasional downpours. These conditions, coupled with cooler temperatures, mark a noticeable shift from the typically mild and dry weather Fuerteventura has had recently.
