The hotel management company, Canarian Hospitality, are to open a new resort in Fuerteventura that will be developed in two phases, with 54 apartments and a 100-room hotel and will be managed under its Mynd Hotels brand and renamed Mynd Cotillo when it is completed.
In a press release, they explained that the first phase, which is already under construction, will be completed by the end of this year, and consists of 54 apartments that will open as the Lacasa Apartments El Cotillo.
The apartment complex will have one and two-bedroom units, some of which are adapted for people with reduced mobility, a central swimming pool, a gym, a kids club, parking, and a storage area for sports equipment, among other services.
The final part of the project will include a 100-room hotel that will be completed in 2024 and whose owner is the Jandía Esmeralda company, who are investing 6 million euros in the construction and equipment of this first phase, in which exclusively the apartments will be promoted.
The Canarian Hospitality complex, to which the 100-room hotel will be added at the end of 2024, will be renamed MYND Cotillo as a whole when it is fully finished.
This will be the fourth project managed by Canarian Hospitality in the Canary Islands, after the opening of the Mynd Adeje in Tenerife last December, and their two other openings for the end of 2022 in Lanzarote, the Radisson Blu Resort in Costa Teguise, and the Mynd Yaiza hotel in Playa Blanca.
