Jet2 announces new base at London Gatwick flying to 11 Spanish destinations
Jet2 has announced the opening of its 14th UK base, this time at London Gatwick Airport, from where it will begin operating flights and holiday packages on 26th March 2026, and the inaugural flight from the new base will be to Tenerife.
A fleet of six aircraft, five of them Airbus A321neos, will connect travellers to a wide range of sunshine destinations across Spain, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Malta, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Cyprus.
From London Gatwick, Jet2 will offer services to 11 destinations in Spain, including all four main Canary Islands:
Canary Islands:
- Fuerteventura: Wednesdays, Sundays
- Gran Canaria: Wednesdays, Sundays
- Lanzarote: Tuesdays, Saturdays
- Tenerife: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays
Balearic Islands and Mainland Spain:
- Ibiza: Mondays, Fridays
- Mallorca: Monday–Sunday with multiple daily flights on several days
- Menorca: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays
- Alicante: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays
- Girona: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays
- Málaga: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays
- Reus: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
Jet2 will also fly from Gatwick to popular destinations including Faro, Antalya, Corfu, Crete, Malta, Naples, Paphos, Pula and Burgas, among many others.
