A head-on collision between two cars resulted in injuries to two children on the FV-30 road, near the entrance to Toto, within the municipality of Pájara in Fuerteventura, at around 1:20pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday).
According to reports from the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES), the necessary emergency resources promptly dispatched to the location given, where medical personnel provided assistance to the injured children.
One is a 9-year-old boy who suffered a moderate hip injury, and the other a 5-year-old boy with stomach injuries. Both children were taken by ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura for further treatment.
The Guardia Civil arrived at the scene and took charge of the investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
