Free music festival comes to Marina Lanzarote this Saturday

Residents and holidaymakers in Lanzarote can enjoy an afternoon of free live music this Saturday, 17th October, when Marina Lanzarote hosts the first Arrecife Marea Fest.

The new festival brings four Spanish acts to the island’s capital, with Nena Daconte, Pol 3.14, Morochos and Éxtasis taking to the stage before DJ Baste rounds off the event.

Doors open at 4.30pm and admission is free, with no need to buy a ticket.

For visitors staying in Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise or Playa Blanca, it offers another reason to spend part of the weekend exploring Arrecife and its marina.

Four live acts on one bill

Spanish pop act Nena Daconte is among the main attractions, alongside singer-songwriter Pol 3.14, duo Morochos and band Éxtasis.

Éxtasis will bring their “Qué Les Voy a Decir Tour” to Lanzarote, with a sound that combines pop, rock and rumba.

The programme gives audiences the chance to see several acts in one place, whether they already follow the artists or simply fancy discovering some Spanish music during their stay.

Once the live performances finish, DJ Baste will take over for the closing session.

The first edition has the backing of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the island’s Centres for Art, Culture and Tourism, alongside support from Marina Lanzarote and commercial sponsors.

When and where

Arrecife Marea Fest takes place at Marina Lanzarote, Arrecife, on Saturday, 17th October, with doors opening at 4.30pm.
