EasyJet has confirmed the temporary suspension of its Liverpool to Fuerteventura service, with flights due to halt from 25th October and not resume until 19th February 2026.
The airline has not yet issued a public statement explaining the decision. However, the move comes as part of a wider pause affecting several key routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Services to Sharm el-Sheikh will also be suspended from 24th October to 15th December, Marrakesh from 22nd October to 12th November, while flights to Berlin will not operate between late October and mid-December.
The news has prompted concern among passengers planning winter travel, particularly those hoping to escape to warmer destinations during the festive season.
Travel industry analysts say the decision may be linked to operational changes or seasonal demand adjustments, though no specific reason has been confirmed by the airline as yet.
EasyJet is expected to resume the affected routes in early 2026, but for now, customers are being advised to check their bookings and explore alternative travel options.
