Following this, officers called for an ambulance for medical assistance, but due to his actions medical staff gave up trying to put a pain reliever in him.
The police tried to identify him, and he ignored them, but after a period of time, whether he calmed down or the narcotics wore off, he gave them his identification. From this they that he was of Maghreb origin and had an active search and arrest warrant out on him.
From that moment, when he was still conscious, according to the report, he was transferred in an ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital (Hunsc), escorted by the Local Police.
From here, custody of the man was taken over by members of the National Police. However, at 11:15pm on Friday, it was reported that the man had died in hospital. Due to the characteristics of the event, his body was transferred to the facilities of the Institute of Legal Medicine, where an autopsy will be carried out to determine the real causes of his death.
