A woman was injured yesterday afternoon (Saturday) following an accident involving three vehicles on the TF-65 road near Las Chafiras, in the south of Tenerife. The incident was reported at 3:15pm, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The necessary emergency resources were dispatched to the scene, including firefighters who were required to free the injured woman, who was trapped inside one of the vehicles involved.
Medical personnel treated her and stabilised her before she was taken to Hospiten Sur hospital for further treatment of the multiple serious injuries she suffered in the accident.
In addition to the fire and medical response teams, officers from the Guardia Civil managed traffic flow and compiled the incident report. Meanwhile, the Cabildo’s Road Maintenance Service cleared the road to restore normal traffic conditions.
