Police open an investigation into the death of man killed in garage fire in Adeje
The National Police has opened an investigation following the discovery of a body inside a car when firefighters put out a fire in the garage of a house located in the El Madronal area of Costa Adeje yesterday morning (Sunday).
Sources from the National Police have confirmed to Europa Press, that members of the Judicial and Scientific Police have been to the scene of the fire to take samples and any evidence they could find, and for now all lines of inquiry are open, and "nothing is ruled out" as to how he died.
Apparently, the man's body was so charred that he couldn’t be identified, but it is expected that identification will be possible through DNA samples once the autopsy is carried out to find out the circumstances of his death.
In total, firefighters had to put the flames out of three vehicles in the blaze.
