Young woman seriously injured after being stabbed by her boyfriend in Tenerife
A young woman is in hospital with serious injuries after allegedly being stabbed by her partner in La Jaca, a coastal area of Arico in Tenerife, yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
The incident occurred around 4.00pm, and officers from the Guardia Civil arrested the suspected attacker shortly afterwards.
According to police sources, the victim, believed to be in her early twenties, is still in hospital, where she is reported to be in a “serious but stable condition” and is said to be recovering “favourably.”
The alleged aggressor, who is apparently her boyfriend, is currently being detained in custody and is expected to appear before a judge today or tomorrow.
