Woman arrested with gun, ammunition and drugs in Tenerife
A woman has been arrested in Santa Cruz de Tenerife after police found drugs, a revolver and ammunition in her car during an investigation into suspected drug dealing.
Officers from the National Police launched the operation after receiving information that the suspect was allegedly using her vehicle to distribute illegal substances. Surveillance was carried out to confirm the activity and identify her movements.
Police intercepted the woman while she was inside her car, after noticing her attempting to conceal a metal object and what appeared to be drugs in the passenger area.
During the search, officers recovered a revolver along with 46 rounds of .38 calibre ammunition, as well as a small quantity of cocaine.
Following the arrest, a court-authorised search of her home uncovered additional drugs, including around five grams of crack cocaine, along with €465 in cash.
The woman has been handed over to the judicial authorities, who will now continue the case.
