Low cloud will dominate the Canary Islands this Wednesday across northern and eastern areas, while clearer skies are expected further south and east, according to the latest forecasts from AEMET, with temperatures up to 25°C.

At sea, northeasterly winds will reach force 3 or 4, locally increasing to force 5 in the southeast and northwest waters. Seas will be moderate, with slight conditions close to the northeast coast, where winds will vary between force 1 and 3.

On the west coast, light variable winds (force 1 or 2) will bring rippled to slight seas. A northwest swell of 2–3 metres is forecast to build to 3–4 metres later in the day.

Lanzarote
Partly cloudy overall, with the north and west seeing more cloud during the early morning and late evening. The east and south will enjoy clearer skies during the day. Maximum temperatures will rise slightly, especially inland, while minimums remain steady. Moderate northeasterly winds will prevail, with coastal breezes in the south.
Temperature range: Low of 17°C and a high of 24°C.

Fuerteventura
A similar pattern of cloud is expected, with more persistent cover in the north and west early and late in the day, and sunshine breaking through in the east and south. Maximum temperatures will increase slightly inland. Moderate northeasterly winds are expected throughout.
Temperature range: Low of 18°C and a high of 23°C.

Gran Canaria
In the north and east below 700–900 metres, cloudy intervals will clear to sunny spells around midday. The rest of the island will remain mostly clear. Temperatures will rise slightly along the coast and more noticeably inland. Moderate northeasterly winds may bring strong gusts in exposed low-lying areas of the far west and southeast, while the southwest coast will experience breezes. Light to moderate easterlies are forecast on the summits.
Temperature range: Low of 18°C and a high of 22°C.

Tenerife
Cloudy intervals in the north and northeast below 800–900 metres will give way to brighter conditions by midday. Elsewhere, the island will see mostly clear or partly cloudy skies, with some cloud lingering at lower elevations. Temperatures will rise slightly along the coast and moderately inland. Northeasterly winds will be generally light, strengthened at times by sea breezes, and becoming moderate in lower areas of the southeast and far northwest. Light easterlies are expected on the central peaks.
Temperature range: Low of 17°C and a high of 25°C.
