A dead body has been discovered inside an apartment in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, prompting an investigation by the local authorities.
Emergency services were called to the property on Calle San Martín in the island’s capital yesterday afternoon (Saturday). Firefighters gained entry through a window, assisted by officers from the National Police and paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC).
Few details have been released so far, and the cause of death remains unknown. Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
