Two men stabbed in broad daylight in a brawl on a Costa Adeje street

In a disturbing incident that unfolded on Calle Asturias in Torviscas, Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife yesterday evening (Saturday), two men needed urgent medical treatment after being stabbed in the street in broad daylight as reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).

CECOES received several alerts from people after the two men got into a brawl at around 8:00pm last night resulting in one of them, aged 55 years old, needing urgent treatment for multiple stab wounds to the stomach leaving him in a serious condition.

After paramedics managed to stabilise him he was rushed to Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital where he is receiving treatment, but there is no update on his condition at this time.

The other man, age unknown, also had multiple stab wounds to the chest, but fortunately, none of them were as serious and he was taken to Hospital del Sur for further treatment.

According to the CECOES report, the National Police have assumed responsibility for the investigation into the incident to determine all the facts as to what happened.
