Two men seriously injured after being stabbed in broad daylight in south Tenerife
Two men have sustained serious injuries from a knife attack in Playa Las Americas, in the south of Tenerife yesterday (Saturday), as reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
One of the injured men was taken to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria by ambulance, and the other, a 35-year-old man, was transferred to the University Hospital de Canarias for further treatment.
The emergency services received an alert at 2:24pm reporting that a man was in need of medical assistance after being attacked in the street with a knife in the Troya area of Las Americas.
Medical personnel who were dispatched to the scene, assessed and provided assistance to the injured men, who were both located in the same general area but in different places, both suffering from knife wounds.
The National Police are responsible for conducting the corresponding procedures in this case, investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbings.
