Tickets for the upcoming UEFA Nations League Group Stage match between Spain and Switzerland in Tenerife, sold out in just 20 minutes yesterday.
The eagerly awaited clash, which will take place at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium in Santa Cruz on November 18th, saw an overwhelming demand that led to a temporary crash on the ticketing website.
The ticket sales, which started yesterday (Thursday) at midday, were met with such a high volume of users that the platform struggled to handle the traffic, ultimately selling out by 12:25pm. Prices for the tickets ranged from €25 to €90, making the event accessible to a wide range of fans eager to see the reigning European champions compete on home soil.
The Spanish Football Federation has reserved a total capacity of 22,600 seats for this event, with a portion allocated for Swiss supporters to accommodate both sides’ fans.
With all tickets claimed, CD Tenerife’s Heliodoro Stadium is set to be at full capacity, promising an electric atmosphere as Spain aims to defend its status in the UEFA Nations League.
