Thousands enjoy aerial display over Tenerife

In a very special first for Tenerife, thousands flocked to Las Teresitas Beach in Santa Cruz yesterday afternoon (Sunday), to witness aerial brilliance from the Las Aguilas Patrol, the Spanish equivalent to the Red Arrows, and the Air Force parachute display team.

The packed crowd weren’t disappointed as for over an hour they were treated to an amazing exhibition of the skills of the two teams of aerial experts here to celebrate 110 years of aviation in the Canary Islands, as you can see by this small selection of photos.

At the end, a standing ovation highlighted their appreciation, and the only disappointment was that it has taken until 2023 to witness something like this on the island.
