Tenerife wakes up to snow on Teide this Christmas Eve
Tenerife woke up to a White Christmas Eve this morning as the highest point in Spain, Mount Teide, is adorned with snow at her summit greatly reducing the odds of snow on Christmas Day in the Canary Islands.
Somos Tenerife published this fantastic image taken by photographer José Andrés DR at first light this morning capturing a snow-capped Teide in all her glory.
Residents always tell visitors of times they were in the snow at Teide in the morning and then sunbathing on the beach in the afternoon on Christmas Day, so who knows, tomorrow could be your turn!
