TF-1 resurfacing in the south continues this week

Resurfacing work on the TF-1 motorway continues from tonight (Sunday) focusing on four main areas between the south airport and the Adeje junction for Armeñime, until Thursday with diversions in place overnight as the work is being carried out from 10pm to 6am.

Specifically, the junctions they will be working on are:
Junction 59: Tenerife South Airport.
Junction 78: Costa Adeje/La Caleta/Fañabé.
Junction 79: Adeje.
Junction 79B: Las Nieves/Los Olivos.
Junction 81: Armeñime/Playa Paraíso.

All work is being carried out on the south carriageway particularly on the slip roads meaning that drivers will have to continue to the next junction and do a U-turn to exit on the other side, as these junction will be closed as follows:
Sunday night: Junction 59
Monday night: Junctions 79B and 81
Tuesday night: Junctions 78, 79, and 81.
Wednesday night: Junctions 78, 79, and 81.
Thursday night: Junctions 78, 79, and 81.

These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that started last April and has an execution period of approximately fourteen months. In total, the works will comprise nearly 40 kilometres of the TF-1 motorway between Adeje and Arico.
