Spanish ‘Red Arrows’ will be in Tenerife this weekend for an air show

The Águila Patrol and the Aerobatic Parachute display team of the Spanish Airforce will give an aerial exhibition this Sunday, November 5th, from 12:00pm (midday) on Las Teresitas Beach in Santa Cruz to commemorate the 110th anniversary of aviation in the Canary Islands following the success of last weekend’s display in Gran Canaria.

This thrilling exhibition taking place for the first time in Tenerife, and it is expected that thousands of people will flock to see it and enjoy a festive day out.

It was first announced by the mayor of Santa Cruz, José Manuel Bermúdez, during the presentation of the program of activities taking place from tomorrow, Thursday, November 2nd to the 5th in the capital of Tenerife.

The mayor has urged those planning to attend Sunday's exhibition to arrive well in advance and to use public transport, which will be strengthened over the weekend.

Program of Events:
The four-day celebration will kick off on Thursday with the poster signing by the Aerobatic Parachute team at El Corte Inglés on Avenida Tres de Mayo starting at 1:00pm.

On Friday and Saturday (November 3rd and 4th), a flight simulator and an information stand by the Spanish Air Force will be set up in Plaza de La Candelaria, just in front of the Real Casino de Tenerife, from 10:00am to 8:00pm, which will be free for the public to try.

Finally, the events end on Sunday (November 5th) with the air show from 12 o’clock. The exhibition will consist of three parts and will involve 6 aircraft from the Spanish Air Force.
