Seven Brits arrested after a fight in Veronicas leaves three injured

The National Police have arrested seven British men, aged between 21 and 34, charged with assault following a fight outside a nightclub in the Veronicas area of Playa de Las Americas in the south of Tenerife. They allegedly caused serious injuries to three other British holidaymakers, with one of them losing three teeth.

The incident occurred in the early hours of March 11th when a fight broke out between several tourists in the street outside Veronicas. The group of seven men fled towards the beach after leaving the three victims semi-conscious on the ground.

When the National Police arrived at the scene, they requested medical assistance for the injured, interviewed the victims, and gathered information about the physical description of the attackers from eye witnesses,

Based on the information provided by the officers attending to the victims, several other National Police patrols located the suspects on the promenade, and immediately arrested them shortly after the assault had occurred, and took them into custody.

The detainees, along with the pertinent police report, were handed over to the competent judicial authority for further proceedings.
