MISSING: Search underway for 53-year-old missing woman in Tenerife
Missing persons charity SOS Desaparecidos has issued a public appeal for help in locating María del Carmen M.E., who was last seen in Tenerife in mid-November.
According to information released by the association, she was last reported to be in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of the island, however that was on 15th November 2025.
María del Carmen is 53 years old and is described as being between 1.55 and 1.60 metres tall, with a normal build and black hair. No further details about the circumstances of her disappearance have been made public.
SOS Desaparecidos work to support families and raise awareness of missing persons cases across Spain. They are urging anyone who may have seen her or has any information that could help locate her to come forward.
Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact SOS Desaparecidos directly on 868 286 726. Authorities and support organisations stress that even small details could be crucial in helping to trace her whereabouts.
