One of the most exclusive and luxurious properties in the north of Tenerife has gone up for sale for €4.95 million. The villa, located on the seafront in Santa Úrsula, offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by landscaped gardens and terraces on a plot of 2,750 square metres.

According to the real estate agency handling the sale, the property stands out not only for its striking architecture and prime coastal location, but also for its fascinating history and high-profile connections.

Some scenes from the Hollywood action film Rambo: Last Blood (2019) are said to have been filmed on the estate, adding to its cinematic appeal. The agency also says that Joseph Ratzinger, who later became Pope Benedict XVI, once stayed at the villa during a private visit to Tenerife.

This extraordinary home combines privacy, prestige, and panoramic ocean views, making it one of the most remarkable listings currently on the island’s luxury property market.

The Canary Islands have long attracted celebrities and high-profile figures seeking privacy and sunshine, and several luxury homes across the archipelago have similar stories to tell. The singer Shakira and footballer Gerard Piqué once owned a lavish villa in La Orotava, Tenerife, while in Lanzarote, Hollywood stars have occasionally rented secluded oceanfront properties during filming or holidays.

Gran Canaria has also played host to a number of international productions, with exclusive estates in areas like Maspalomas and Agaete temporarily transformed into film sets or celebrity hideaways.
