A prisoner at Las Palmas II jail in Juan Grande, Gran Canaria, has been reported for exposing himself to a female officer during a routine check and threatening other staff just hours later.
According to prison sources, the inmate was completely naked and masturbating while staring directly at the officer. She told him to stop, but he ignored her and carried on.
He’s currently serving time for multiple thefts and burglaries committed in Tenerife, and is being held in Module 2, which is one of the prison’s units for the most problematic inmates.
The incident happened on Friday, 23rd May, at around 2:00pm, then later that afternoon, at around 4:45pm, the same inmate allegedly threatened several officers, telling them he would “take them out.”
He was briefly moved to another part of the prison but has since been returned to Module 2, where the female officer he exposed himself to is still working.
That decision has raised serious concerns, with staff questioning why she’s been left to continue working near the prisoner who harassed her. So far, prison officials haven’t made any public comment.
