The National Police have dismantled a significant drug distribution network in Tenerife, which in the arrest of five people from the same family who were running it as a well-organised operation from three separate properties.
The investigation began following numerous complaints from local residents in the Taco area of La Laguna, who accused the family of selling drugs.
Police inquiries gained sufficient evidence to request judicial authorisation for a coordinated raid on the three premises.
A Well-Organised Family Clan
Authorities discovered that the family functioned as a highly organised group, strategically rotating roles among its members to avoid detection. Their illicit, activities included selling cocaine, hashish, and crack, with their primary customers being people under the age of 25 and those already struggling with addiction.

All five detainees, who have previous criminal records, have been charged with drug trafficking and are now in the custody of judicial authorities. Residents have expressed relief as police efforts have disrupted a criminal network that had negatively impacted the community for years.
