The incident occurred late yesterday morning (Monday) on Calle Obispo Estévez Ugarte in La Orotava, where the woman suddenly collapsed.
Local Police officers were the first to respond, performing CPR until paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) arrived, and thanks to the combined efforts of both teams, the woman’s pulse was successfully restored.
Once she was stabilised, they rushed her by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias in a critical condition for further treatment, according to reports from the emergency services.
