North Yorkshire Police launch appeal for missing Tenerife man in the UK

The North Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal after the disappearance of 31-year-old Tenerife man, Seth Martin, who has not been heard from since Saturday (February 24th). He was last seen at his home in the Clifton area of York around 9:00am on Saturday, but since then, his family and friends have been unable to contact him.

In a statement shared by various media outlets, including the BBC, the police emphasise that "extensive investigations are underway to locate Seth, including an ongoing search in the River Ouse in York, where a person was seen in the water at 4:30pm on Saturday.”

"As part of our investigations, we urge anyone who may have seen Seth or has information about his whereabouts to contact us immediately," the police have requested.

Seth Martin is described as 1.90 metres (6ft 3”) tall, with a slim build and a tan complexion. He has brown hair, a recognisable moustache, and several tattoos, including the words 'Reina Madre' in Spanish on his left wrist.

The last time he was seen, he was wearing blue pyjamas and a stripey shirt, though it is possible that he may have changed clothes since then."
