National Police Investigate the Death of 19-Year-Old Woman in Tenerife
The National Police have opened an investigation following the discovery of a 19-year-old woman’s body on Saturday morning in Los Realejos, Tenerife.
Initial reports from El Día suggested that the circumstances of the death were unclear, and that police had not confirmed whether the body was found inside a property.
Later on Saturday, sources from the National Police told Europa Press that, at this stage, there are no signs to suggest the young woman’s death was a homicide. However, the investigation remains open while officers work to determine the exact cause.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case. Police have stressed that further enquiries will continue until the circumstances are fully clarified.
