A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after falling into a ravine in Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, according to reports from the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) of the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:20am on Friday (November 8th) in a ravine near Calle Marruecos in Adeje. Emergency responders, including firefighters, were dispatched to the scene. They successfully rescued the injured man and transported him to a location accessible for an ambulance so he could receive treatment.
Upon initial assessment, SUC paramedics determined the motorcyclist had sustained severe multiple injuries, so he was immediately transferred in a specialised ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria for urgent treatment.
The accident highlights the importance of being aware and cautious while navigating challenging roads, particularly at night when visibility is reduced.
