Motorcyclist injured in crash at Guaza roundabout in the south of Tenerife

A 26-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after being injured in a collision involving a motorbike and a car at the Guaza roundabout in Arona, south Tenerife.

The accident occurred at 11:15am on the TF-66, according to the Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES).

Emergency services, including medical personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, paramedics assessed the motorcyclist, who was found to have sustained moderate injuries.

She was stabilised before being transferred by ambulance to the Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital for further treatment.

The incident also prompted a response from the Cabildo’s Road Maintenance Service, which worked to restore the road to safe driving conditions.

Meanwhile, the Guardia Civil managed traffic flow and launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
