Motorcyclist dies after colliding with a car in the south of Tenerife
A 65-year-old Belgian motorcyclist lost his life this afternoon (Friday) following a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the TF-47 road near the roundabout for Callao Salvaje, in the municipality of Adeje, in the south of Tenerife.
The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) dispatched the relevant resources to the location of the accident, where paramedics tried to resuscitate the injured man as he was in cardiac arrest.
Unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene due to fatal injuries sustained in the accident.
The Guardia Civil have opened an investigation into the cause of the incident, and road maintenance teams worked to clear the area to restore traffic flow back to normal.
