The Canary Islands Government has announced more overnight closures on the TF-1 motorway in both directions between kilometre points 60 and 64 in Las Chafiras, from this Monday, 26th May at 9:00p.m. until 6:00a.m. on Thursday, 29th May.
The closures are taking place to carry out the installation of more structure of the new bridge and roundabout at the SanMiguel / Los Abrigos junction of the motorway.
The work is part of the ongoing project to add a third lane to the TF-1 between San Isidro and Las Americas, specifically in the Oroteanda to Las Chafiras section.
During these night-time works, traffic will be diverted through the Chafiras industrial estates on both sides of the motorway via exits 62 and 64, in order to maintain traffic flow and minimise disruption to road users.
The regional government is urging drivers to exercise caution, obey posted signage, and follow the instructions of workers on site to ensure safety throughout the construction period. Motorists are advised to plan for potential delays, especially if heading to the Tenerife South Airport.
