A man, whose details haven’t been released, was injured in a knife attack late last night (Tuesday) on Avenida Republica de Panama in Las Americas, in the south of Tenerife. The Emergency Services received an alert just after 11:00pm requesting medical assistance and dispatched the necessary resources to the location given.
According to the report from the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) the victim sustained moderate injuries, which were treated by paramedics at the scene before transferring him to the Hospital del Sur by ambulance for urgent treatment.
The National Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the incident and are handling the necessary legal procedures to track down the culprits.
