The National Police have struck a major blow against the local drug trade after dismantling a cocaine and hashish sales point operating out of a property in Ten-Bel, in the South of Tenerife. Two people have been arrested and sent to prison following the seizure of a large quantity of drugs, cash, and weapons.

Acting on intelligence that narcotics were being sold from a residential property, investigators launched a detailed surveillance operation to track the suspects’ movements. Once sufficient evidence had been gathered, officers carried out a court-authorised raid on the home, bringing the illegal operation to an abrupt end.

Inside, police found 728 grams of cocaine, 3.6 kilos of hashish, €11,000 in cash, a knife, and a vehicle believed to have been used to distribute the drugs. The scale of the haul indicates a well-established point of sale serving the local area.

Both suspects were arrested and taken before a judge, who ordered their immediate imprisonment as the investigation continues.

The National Police say the operation is part of their ongoing crackdown on organised drug networks across Tenerife. They have urged the public to help in the fight against drug trafficking by reporting any suspicious activity to the confidential email antidroga@policia.es.
