The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) is forecasting a mostly cloudy Thursday for the Canary Islands, with light drizzle possible in the north-facing mid-altitudes of the mountainous islands during the early morning and late evening.
Temperatures will remain largely unchanged across the archipelago, and winds are expected to be moderate from the northeast, with strong gusts in the southeast and northwest slopes of the higher islands. There is a low chance of occasional very strong gusts in these areas.
Northern skies over mountainous islands and Lanzarote will remain mostly cloudy, although conditions are expected to clear slightly by midday and into the afternoon. Elsewhere, skies will be mostly clear or feature occasional high clouds.
At sea, winds from the north or northeast will range from force 4 to 6, creating moderate to rough seas with a northerly swell of 1 to 2 metres.

Cloudy in the north and west with sunny intervals during the central hours of the day. Mostly clear in the south and east. Moderate northeasterly winds, occasionally strong in the southeast in the afternoon.

Cloudy in the north and west early in the day, becoming mostly clear by midday and afternoon. Clear skies with occasional high clouds in the south. Moderate northeasterly winds, becoming strong at times in southern Jandía in the afternoon.

GRAN CANARIA
Cloudy in the north with clearer skies from midday; drizzle possible in mid-altitudes early and late in the day. Clearer conditions elsewhere with some high clouds. Moderate to strong trade winds in southeast and northwest slopes; light coastal breezes in the southwest.
Expected temperature range: 19°C to 24°C.
TENERIFE
Mostly cloudy in the northeast with possible drizzle in mid-altitudes, especially early and late. Cloudy intervals in the north with clearer spells during the night and evening. Clear in the south and mostly clear elsewhere with high cloud patches. Moderate to strong northeast winds; breezes along the west coast and light westerly winds in the central highlands.
Expected temperature range: 19°C to 26°C.
