Jet2 announce new base in the UK with 7 weekly flights to the Canary Islands

Jet2 have announced that they are opening their 12th base in the United Kingdom in April 2025, from where it will operate 27 flights to 16 destinations with special emphasis on the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.

Specifically, 8 of the 16 direct flights that the airline will offer from its new base in Bournemouth will be destined for Spain: Alicante, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca. In addition, the first flight that will take off, on April 1st, 2025, will be to Tenerife.

As well as responding to years of demand for award-winning flights and holidays from customers and independent travel agents across the region, Jet2’s announcement significantly expands their footprint.

This means that holidaymakers and independent travel agents across even more of the South of England, including Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and the wider region, can benefit from the companies’ leisure flights and ATOL protected package holidays.

As Which? Travel Brand of the Year, we know that our award-winning flights and holidays will be enormously popular across the region, and we cannot wait to show everyone what we are all about.”
