Hyatt has announced the opening of the AluaSoul Costa Adeje in Tenerife, marking a significant expansion of their portfolio in the Canary Islands. The hotel, acquired in 2023 and previously known as the La Niña Hotel operated by Be Live (a division of Globalia), represents Hyatt's strategic growth in the region following its acquisition of Apple Leisure Group (ALG).
Hyatt now manages 12 hotels across the Canary Islands, with the addition of AluaSoul Costa Adeje, offering over 4,100 rooms in Tenerife, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura. This expansion highlights Hyatt's commitment to providing exceptional hospitality services in one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
Significant Investments
The AluaSoul Costa Adeje was acquired by Stoneweg and Bain Capital for €83 million as part of Globalia's efforts to reduce its debt. Following a comprehensive renovation, the hotel now features two restaurants, bars, a spa, areas designated for daytime activities, an outdoor pool, and meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Prime Location and Exclusive Services
Isabel Hernández, General Manager of AluaSoul Costa Adeje, emphasised the hotel's prime location and its stunning natural surroundings. "The breathtaking views of the Atlantic make it an ideal destination on the island," she stated.
As part of Hyatt's Inclusive Collection, AluaSoul Costa Adeje offers the exclusive My Favourite Club service, which focuses on delivering a premium and personalized experience to its guests.
Looking Ahead
Hyatt's strategic acquisition and renovation of AluaSoul Costa Adeje not only enhanced its portfolio in the Canary Islands but also reinforce its reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry. Guests can look forward to enjoying top-tier amenities and exceptional service in one of Europe's most beautiful regions.
