The lead is once again being taken by Scotland’s Gerard Butler, who is an established action movie actor having starred in such Hollywood blockbusters as Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen, and 300, who will be on the mean streets of Tenerife filming his latest role.

The second installment of this film was announced in 2020, but was delayed because of Covid, but will now finally start shooting this year. This film joins other major productions that have recently chosen the island as a location, including Bourne, Fast & Furious 6, and Rambo 5, after it all started with Raquel Welch in 1966 in One Million Years BC.
